This 1 - 1/2 lb Halder Simplex hammer features 2 over sized replaceable faces. This unique feature helps protect the material you are hitting against mis-hits by creating a barrier between the cast iron housing. This is a great hammer to use when you are hitting more delicate materials such as softer wood and expensive flooring. It is also perfect for those doing paver and store work with more expensive materials such as blue stone . The faces are made of a soft blue rubber which is also non-marring. The white face is Halder super plastic material which is very durable and is on the medium to hard side. These faces can be replaced, making the Simplex hammer an extremely long lasting tool.
